We Return…
Our last Pilgrimage to Tintagel was truly magical. Together we created a culture of celebration, connection, prayer and gratitude in mythic relationship with the land.
This year we have even more MAGIC to share.
OUR PROGRAMME
Nature Dance: Immersing in the Land’s Rhythms
Our nature dances will be immersive experiences in pristine locations, where we tune into the rhythms of the land, sea, and sky. These dances will invite us to surrender to the flow of the elements, moving in harmony with the natural world around us. We’ll attune ourselves to the sacred energies of Cornwall’s landscapes, letting the earth guide our steps and awaken our connection to the ancient wisdom of the land.
Pilgrimage to the Rocky Valley Labyrinth and St. Nectan’s Glen
As part of this mythic quest, we will venture into the wild beauty of the Rocky Valley, where ancient labyrinths carved into the stone whispers long forgotten tales. From there, we will journey to St. Nectan’s Glen, a sanctuary where the veil between worlds is thin. Here, amidst cascading waters and moss-clad trees, we will experience the transformative power of the land, its rhythms syncing with our own. This daylong pilgrimage, including an organic high-quality food pick nick, will be a powerful highlight of our time together.
Merlin Mind: Exploring Sacred Geometry
As a special treat, Yannick Dubois will offer a creative session called Merlin Mind, a meditative exploration of sacred geometry as a template for creating sacred space. Drawing from the ancient craft of the magician, this practice delves into the interplay between the eternal, unchanging realm of numbers and the ever-shifting patterns of nature. With a special focus on the number 3, we will explore the geometries of land, sea, and sky, and the balance of past, present, and future.
Bardic Arts & Fireside Enchantments
Evenings will be filled with Bardic Arts, where we weave together stories, songs, and poetry in playful ways. This is the perfect time for you to relax and let yourself be serenaded by our talented musicians. Our Bardic Circle ceremony offers a space for participations and creative expression, where each of us is invited to share their magic and be witnessed by the group.
Merlin's Cavern
We follow the rising tides to gain access to this profound, natural temple space deep below the infamous castle.. We shall explore with playful curiosity the wild mystery of Merlin, listening for his secret wisdom, and singing together in the resonance of its womb-like darkness.
A Sacred Space for Connection
This retreat will be co-facilitated by Alex (CurlyBard) and Yannick Dubois. Together, we will guide you on a journey of connection to the land, to each other, and to the ancient magic that still pulses through the earth.

A Comfortable Sanctuary
We’ll be staying at the Tintagel Youth Hostel, a cosy and welcoming space nestled in the heart of Cornwall. The hostel offers comfortable shared rooms and a relaxed, community-driven atmosphere, making it the perfect base for our retreat. We are literally situated on right at a cliffs edge on the fabulous north Cornwall coastal path.

CURLYBARD
Curly is the founder of Ecstatic Revolution and Nature Dance UK.
in 2019, Curly had a vision to share his love of dancing in the wilderness with his community, and it has been a huge success.
Also as a storyteller, bard and poet, Curly has found a profound connection to land and ancestry through his relationship with the spoken word.
To weave together his passions for dancing in nature and sharing stories that live in our landscapes is truly a dream come true.
YANNICK DUBOIS
Yannick Dubois is the creator of Forestheart, a soulful ethical business that blends visual art, storytelling, nature connection, and spiritual practice. A student of the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, Yannick specialises in Celtic tree lore, which also plays a central role in his artwork.
Alongside his creative work, Yannick practises Qi Gong, Tantric meditation, and Peruvian energy work, weaving these traditions into his offerings. He has facilitated in-person workshops at retreats and festivals, as well as online gatherings for many years.
Originally from the Continent, Yannick moved to the UK a decade ago, deeply inspired by The Mists of Avalon and its magical weaving of the Arthurian realm. This calling led him on a series of mythic pilgrimages across Britain, exploring the wild and enchanted landscapes of Merlin, the stones, and the stories of the land.
For this retreat, he brings a specially crafted sequence of practices rooted in sacred geometry, meditation, and the art and craft of the Magician as embodied by Merlin, inviting participants into a deeper relationship with the unseen patterns that shape both nature and the soul.
JESSICA SUTHERLAND-DUBOIS
Jessie has a voice that melts hearts. She has been singing at gatherings, retreats and ceremonies for several years and carries a deep passion for the power of sound to uplift, soothe and transform. Her presence invites others into a space where vulnerability and beauty meet
A student of New Vision Therapy, a gentle nervous system-based approach rooted in craniosacral bodywork, Jessica brings a somatic sensitivity to her offerings. For this retreat, she will guide participants through embodied sound journeys, weaving together elements of sound bathing, vocal toning, and heart-centred connection practices. Her sessions offer a sanctuary of resonance where voice and body meet in healing harmony.
RODDY SYM
Roddy Rose Sym is a wandering bard and enchanting troubadour, whose voice carries the echoes of ancient stories and forgotten songs. After many years abroad, he has returned to the Isle of Albion to walk the mythic path of the Bard, devoting himself to the lore, landscapes, and legends of these sacred isles.
Roddy is a gifted vocal artist, musician, actor, and storyteller. Whether through spellbinding song, lyrical poetry, or embodied performance, he brings a rare magic that awakens the imagination and stirs the soul. His presence at this retreat will open doorways into the unseen, inviting us to remember the power of word, rhythm and resonance
